The average commercial printing import price stood at $9,029 per ton in July 2023, growing by 19% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, saw a mild descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in November 2022 when the average import price increased by 41% m-o-m. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $12,788 per ton. From December 2022 to July 2023, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was the United States ($43,293 per ton), while the price for India ($3,353 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the United States (+0.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

In 2022, the average commercial printing export price amounted to $10,504 per ton, rising by 15% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure in 2022 and is likely to see gradual growth in the near future.
