Lead Price in Serbia (FOB) - 2023
In August 2023, the average lead export price amounted to $2,530 per ton, leveling off at the previous month. Over the period from November 2022 to August 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.2%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in December 2022 an increase of 6.5% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure in August 2023.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Bulgaria.
From November 2022 to August 2023, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Bulgaria amounted to +1.2% per month.
Lead Price in Serbia (CIF) - 2023
The average lead import price stood at $2,865 per ton in August 2023, with an increase of 14% against the previous month. Over the last nine-month period, it increased at an average monthly rate of +2.5%. As a result, import price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was Poland ($3,722 per ton), while the price for Croatia ($2,439 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Turkey (+2.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Lead Exports in Serbia
