Mushroom and Truffle Price in Belgium (FOB) - 2023
The average mushroom and truffle export price stood at $2,508 per ton in June 2023, shrinking by -21.1% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in December 2022 when the average export price increased by 12% m-o-m. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $3,535 per ton. From January 2023 to June 2023, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Luxembourg ($3,831 per ton), while the average price for exports to Chile ($315 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Chile (+15.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Mushroom and Truffle Price in Belgium (CIF) - 2023
In May 2023, the average mushroom and truffle import price amounted to $2,565 per ton, remaining constant against the previous month. Over the period from May 2022 to May 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.1%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in September 2022 when the average import price increased by 20% m-o-m.
