The average import price for cabbages, cauliflowers, kohlrabi, kale and similar edible brassicas; fresh or chilleds stood at $1,138 per ton in 2022, waning by -14.6% against the previous year. In general, import price indicated noticeable growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +4.4% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 an increase of 16%. The import price peaked at $1,333 per ton in 2021, and then contracted in the following year.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Spain ($5,297 per ton), while the price for Lebanon ($283 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Spain (+25.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average export price for cabbages, cauliflowers, kohlrabi, kale and similar edible brassicas; fresh or chilleds amounted to $1,590 per ton, growing by 1.9% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price recorded a slight expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 when the average export price increased by 127% against the previous year. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $2,479 per ton. From 2019 to 2022, the average export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($1,638 per ton), while the average price for exports to Niger stood at $105 per ton.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the United States (-4.8%).

In value terms, imports of cabbages, cauliflowers, kohlrabi, kale and similar edible brassicas; fresh or chilleds skyrocketed to $84K in 2022. In general, imports, however, showed a sharp reduction.
