Price for Cereal Flours; Other than of Wheat or Meslin in Pakistan (FOB) - 2023

In July 2023, the average export price for cereal flours; other than of wheat or meslin amounted to $644 per ton, falling by -7.7% against the previous month. In general, the export price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in June 2023 an increase of 35% against the previous month. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $698 per ton, and then fell in the following month.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In July 2023, the country with the highest price was the United States ($1,735 per ton), while the average price for exports to Australia ($607 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Australia (+3.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

The import price peaked at $708 per ton in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
