Price for Cereal Groats and Meal; of Maize (Corn) in South Africa (FOB) - 2023

The average export price for cereal groats and meal; of maize (corn)s stood at $352 per ton in December 2023, shrinking by -3% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price recorded a mild decrease. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in January 2023 when the average export price increased by 8.7% against the previous month. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $436 per ton. From February 2023 to December 2023, the the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
