The average import price for cutlery; other than plated with precious metals stood at $11,370 per ton in October 2023, growing by 21% against the previous month. From November 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by France (+8.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The export price peaked at $17,157 per ton in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($35,947 per ton), while the average price for exports to Chile ($5,585 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Portugal (+8.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
