The average export price for petroleum resins, coumarone, indene or coumarone-indene resins and polyterpenes; in primary formses stood at $2,131 per ton in December 2022, picking up by 5.2% against the previous month. Over the period from December 2021 to December 2022, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.2%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in April 2022 when the average export price increased by 6.5% m-o-m. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the maximum in December 2022.

Average prices varied somewhat for the major export markets. In December 2022, the countries with the highest prices were Egypt ($2,531 per ton) and Germany ($2,281 per ton), while the average price for exports to Saudi Arabia ($1,771 per ton) and India ($1,826 per ton) were amongst the lowest.

From December 2021 to December 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Egypt (+3.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
