Price for Rubber Tube and Pipe in Croatia (CIF) - 2023
In July 2023, the average rubber tube and pipe import price amounted to $14,201 per ton, rising by 12% against the previous month. Over the period under review, import price indicated a moderate expansion from July 2022 to July 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +2.9% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on July 2023 figures, rubber tube and pipe import price increased by +2.6% against April 2023 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in April 2023 an increase of 101% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs in July 2023.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Hungary ($21,621 per ton), while the price for Bosnia and Herzegovina ($3,601 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the Czech Republic (+6.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In July 2023, the average rubber tube and pipe export price amounted to $18,286 per ton, surging by 1.8% against the previous month. In general, export price indicated a temperate expansion from July 2022 to July 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +4.9% over the last twelve months. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on July 2023 figures, rubber tube and pipe export price increased by +53.1% against February 2023 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in April 2023 when the average export price increased by 20% m-o-m. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs in July 2023.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Poland ($66,143 per ton), while the average price for exports to Serbia ($6,797 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Poland (+17.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Imports of Rubber Tube and Pipe in Croatia
In 2022, imports of tubes, pipes and hoses of vulcanized rubber into Croatia shrank to 1.3K tons, with a decrease of -9.6% compared with the year before. In general, imports recorded a noticeable setback. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when imports increased by 12% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of 1.5K tons, and then dropped in the following year.
