Spices; Saffron Price in the Netherlands (FOB) - 2022

In 2022, the average spices; saffron export price amounted to $86,203 per ton, shrinking by -15.5% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, enjoyed a buoyant increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 when the average export price increased by 43%. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $148,697 per ton in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
