Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at X tons in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2023, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, vegetable imports reached $X in 2023. In general, imports, however, saw a slight descent. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2023, imports remained at a lower figure.

Imports by Country

Egypt (X tons), Russia (X tons) and the Netherlands (X tons) were the main suppliers of vegetable imports to Jordan, together comprising X% of total imports. Turkey, Syrian Arab Republic, Australia, Argentina, Canada, the United Arab Emirates, Mexico, China, the United States and Lebanon lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further X%.
