The United Arab Emirates (X cubic meters), Saudi Arabia (X cubic meters) and Egypt (X cubic meters) were the main destinations of fibreboard exports from Thailand, with a combined X% share of total exports. Vietnam, Lebanon, South Korea, Malaysia, Kuwait, Israel, Jordan, the United States and India lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further X%.

In 2022, supplies from abroad of fibreboard decreased by X% to X cubic meters, falling for the second consecutive year after three years of growth. Over the period under review, imports showed a pronounced curtailment. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at X cubic meters in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, fibreboard imports declined slightly to $X in 2022. In general, imports continue to indicate a pronounced downturn. From 2015 to 2022, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.

In 2022, China (X cubic meters) constituted the largest supplier of fibreboard to Thailand, accounting for a X% share of total imports. Moreover, fibreboard imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Indonesia (X cubic meters), fourfold. Malaysia (X cubic meters) ranked third in terms of total imports with a X% share.
