France, the UK, Austria, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Poland, Cambodia, Spain and Kazakhstan lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 32%.
Cambodia, with a CAGR of +30.3%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, among the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Import Prices By Country
In 2022, the average import price for aluminium casks, drums, cans, boxes and similar containers amounted to $0.2 per unit, growing by 22% against the previous year. In general, the import price saw a relatively flat trend pattern.
