Aluminium Wire Price in Estonia (CIF) - 2024

The average aluminium wire import price stood at $3,178 per ton in March 2024, leveling off at the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in July 2023 an increase of 11% against the previous month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $3,457 per ton. From August 2023 to March 2024, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. In March 2024, the highest price was recorded for prices from Belgium ($3,651 per ton) and Italy ($3,545 per ton), while the price for Oman ($2,840 per ton) and Norway ($3,136 per ton) were amongst the lowest.

From March 2023 to March 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Belgium (+0.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

Over the period under review, the export price recorded a perceptible setback. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when the average export price increased by 42% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $4,785 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Finland ($3,705 per ton), while the average price for exports to Germany ($2,383 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
