Aluminium Wire Price in Tunisia (CIF) - 2022

The average aluminium wire import price stood at $3,128 per ton in December 2022, increasing by 3.7% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in May 2022 an increase of 12% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $3,921 per ton in June 2022; however, from July 2022 to December 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was France ($6,192 per ton), while the price for the United Arab Emirates ($2,784 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From January 2022 to December 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Spain (+7.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
