Apricot Price in the Czech Republic (CIF) - 2023
In June 2023, the average apricot import price amounted to $2,062 per ton, waning by -20.7% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, enjoyed a mild increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in November 2022 when the average import price increased by 179% month-to-month. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $6,437 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to June 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. In June 2023, the highest price was recorded for prices from Hungary ($2,455 per ton) and Germany ($2,340 per ton), while the price for Turkey ($1,713 per ton) and Bulgaria ($1,729 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Bulgaria (+16.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Apricot Price in the Czech Republic (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average apricot export price amounted to $1,913 per ton, which is down by -17.4% against the previous year. In general, export price indicated a slight expansion from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +1.4% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, apricot export price increased by +40.4% against 2019 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 when the average export price increased by 39% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the maximum at $2,316 per ton in 2021, and then shrank dramatically in the following year.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Bulgaria ($2,846 per ton), while the average price for exports to the Netherlands ($1,497 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Spain (+17.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Apricot Imports in the Czech Republic
After two years of decline, supplies from abroad of apricots increased by 37% to 8.2K tons in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a abrupt decline.
In value terms, apricot imports stood at $14M in 2022. Overall, imports, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when imports increased by 29%.

Apricot Exports in the Czech Republic
In 2022, apricot exports from the Czech Republic dropped dramatically to 307 tons, falling by -24.5% compared with 2021. Over the period under review, exports saw a abrupt curtailment. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by 57%.
In value terms, apricot exports dropped notably to $587K in 2022. Overall, exports recorded a mild descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when exports increased by 93%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $941K, and then shrank notably in the following year.
