Aromatic Hydrocarbons Derivatives Price in the Netherlands (CIF) - 2023
The average aromatic hydrocarbons derivatives import price stood at $1,822 per ton in July 2023, rising by 32% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, showed a slight decline. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in November 2022 when the average import price increased by 96% against the previous month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $3,066 per ton. From December 2022 to July 2023, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was the United States ($8,333 per ton), while the price for Belgium ($1,083 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the United States (+0.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

In July 2023, the average aromatic hydrocarbons derivatives export price amounted to $9,512 per ton, with a decrease of -5.9% against the previous month. In general, the export price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in December 2022 an increase of 12% month-to-month. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $11,258 per ton. From January 2023 to July 2023, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.

From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Belgium (+4.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Aromatic Hydrocarbons Derivatives Imports in the Netherlands
In 2022, imports of halogenated derivatives of aromatic hydrocarbons into the Netherlands surged to 23K tons, rising by 49% against 2021 figures.
