The average arsenic import price stood at $2,512 per ton in 2022, falling by -6.4% against the previous year. In general, the import price recorded a mild reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 an increase of 45% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $4,583 per ton in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Japan ($13,078 per ton), while the price for China totaled $1,407 per ton.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Japan (+6.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

The average arsenic export price stood at $2,414 per ton in 2022, waning by -27% against the previous year. Overall, export price indicated mild growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +1.1% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, arsenic export price increased by +17.8% against 2017 indices.
