Artificial Graphite Price in Poland (CIF) - 2023
The average artificial graphite import price stood at $6,552 per ton in June 2023, surging by 12% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in April 2023 when the average import price increased by 19% month-to-month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $7,676 per ton. From May 2023 to June 2023, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was China ($9,772 per ton), while the price for Norway ($1,627 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+3.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In June 2023, the average artificial graphite export price amounted to $4,910 per ton, with an increase of 21% against the previous month. Overall, the export price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in April 2023 when the average export price increased by 135% m-o-m. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $6,931 per ton in July 2022; however, from August 2022 to June 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Japan ($7,374 per ton), while the average price for exports to France ($1,585 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
