Baby Food Price in Bulgaria (CIF) - 2023
In August 2023, the average baby food import price amounted to $11,006 per ton, declining by -12.2% against the previous month. Over the last twelve months, it increased at an average monthly rate of +2.3%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in July 2023 when the average import price increased by 35% month-to-month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $12,529 per ton, and then declined in the following month.
As there is only one major supplying country, the average price level is determined by prices for Switzerland.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the rate of growth in terms of prices for the Netherlands amounted to +4.3% per month.

In August 2023, the average baby food export price amounted to $8,832 per ton, falling by -26.3% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price, however, recorded a pronounced increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in February 2023 when the average export price increased by 119% m-o-m. The export price peaked at $11,981 per ton in July 2023, and then declined remarkably in the following month.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Serbia.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Iraq amounted to +30.4% per month.
Baby Food Imports in Bulgaria
