Baby Food Price in the Netherlands (FOB) - 2023
The average baby food export price stood at $15,542 per ton in August 2023, picking up by 2.6% against the previous month. Over the period from August 2022 to August 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.5%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in November 2022 when the average export price increased by 23% m-o-m. The export price peaked in August 2023.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was Hong Kong SAR ($20,921 per ton), while the average price for exports to Libya ($5,965 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Greece (+9.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
