In 2022, the average balls; inflatable import price amounted to $4.9 per unit, dropping by -4.7% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +3.2%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 an increase of 16% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $5.1 per unit in 2021, and then reduced in the following year.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Hong Kong SAR ($5.5 per unit), while the price for the United Arab Emirates ($2.5 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Hong Kong SAR (+4.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
