Beer Price in Israel (CIF) - 2022
The average beer import price stood at $1.2 per litre in 2022, with an increase of 6.8% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +2.6%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 an increase of 20%. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $1.2 per litre in 2017; afterwards, it flattened through to 2022.
Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the highest price was recorded for prices from Mexico ($1.2 per litre) and Poland ($1.2 per litre), while the price for France ($1.2 per litre) and Thailand ($1.2 per litre) were amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Ukraine (+9.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average beer export price stood at $1 per litre in 2022, falling by -1.9% against the previous year. In general, the export price saw a noticeable shrinkage. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 an increase of 30%. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $1.3 per litre in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the highest price was recorded for prices to Slovenia ($1 per litre) and Cyprus ($1 per litre), while the average price for exports to the UK ($1 per litre) and Canada ($1 per litre) were amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Australia (+1.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Beer Imports in Israel
In 2022, approx. 64M litres of beer were imported into Israel; falling by -14.9% compared with the previous year's figure.
