Boiler Parts Price in Latvia (CIF) - 2023
The average boiler parts import price stood at $12,338 per ton in November 2023, jumping by 57% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, showed a mild descent. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in April 2023 an increase of 131% against the previous month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $41,682 per ton. From May 2023 to November 2023, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Poland ($81,045 per ton), while the price for Austria ($12,244 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Poland (+21.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Boiler Parts Price in Latvia (FOB) - 2022
The average boiler parts export price stood at $25,074 per ton in 2022, reducing by -15.2% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when the average export price increased by 62%. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the maximum at $30,747 per ton in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Russia ($36,471 per ton), while the average price for exports to Lithuania ($20,194 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Slovenia (+24.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
Boiler Parts Imports in Latvia
In 2022, boiler parts imports into Latvia expanded sharply to 395 tons, picking up by 5.3% on 2021 figures. In general, imports, however, saw a pronounced decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by 31%.
In value terms, boiler parts imports reduced notably to $5.3M in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, showed a deep downturn. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 44%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $7.4M, and then fell rapidly in the following year.

Over the period under review, exports continue to indicate a abrupt contraction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 19%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of 145 tons. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, boiler parts exports contracted sharply to $2.2M in 2022. Overall, exports saw a abrupt setback. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by 3.6%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $2.7M, and then reduced sharply in the following year.
