Breathing Appliances Price in Russia (CIF) - 2022
In January 2022, the average breathing appliances import price amounted to $44.4 per unit, almost unchanged from the previous month. Overall, the import price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in March 2021 an increase of 75% m-o-m. The import price peaked at $55.2 per unit in July 2021; however, from August 2021 to January 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In January 2022, the country with the highest price was the UK ($118 per unit), while the price for Turkey ($17.8 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From January 2021 to January 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the UK (+7.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Breathing Appliances Price in Russia (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average breathing appliances export price amounted to $18 per unit, picking up by 4.1% against the previous year. Overall, export price indicated a temperate expansion from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +3.9% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, breathing appliances export price decreased by -5.0% against 2020 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when the average export price increased by 45%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $19 per unit. From 2021 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was India ($209 per unit), while the average price for exports to Belarus ($7.3 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Kazakhstan (+7.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Breathing Appliances Imports in Russia
For the third year in a row, Russia recorded decline in supplies from abroad of breathing appliances and gas masks, which decreased by -0.2% to 822K units in 2022. Overall, imports continue to indicate a abrupt slump. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at 1.1M units in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, breathing appliances imports reduced to $27M in 2022. The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +1.2% over the period from 2019 to 2022; however, the trend pattern remained relatively stable, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations being observed throughout the analyzed period. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when imports increased by 23%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $30M, and then contracted in the following year.
