Canned Pineapple Price in Latvia (CIF) - 2023
In September 2023, the average canned pineapple import price amounted to $1,984 per ton, increasing by 26% against the previous month. In general, the import price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in February 2023 an increase of 42% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $2,312 per ton in November 2022; however, from December 2022 to September 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Lithuania ($2,917 per ton), while the price for Thailand ($1,459 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Poland (+1.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Canned Pineapple Price in Latvia (FOB) - 2022
The average canned pineapple export price stood at $2,092 per ton in 2022, increasing by 3.2% against the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +2.8%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when the average export price increased by 28% against the previous year.
