The average carbonates; strontium carbonate import price stood at $1,090 per ton in June 2023, growing by 6.3% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, continues to indicate a perceptible downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in August 2022 when the average import price increased by 26% against the previous month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $1,864 per ton. From September 2022 to June 2023, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Spain ($3,311 per ton), while the price for Mexico ($994 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
