The average carbonates; strontium carbonate import price stood at $1,554 per ton in 2021, which is down by -2.1% against the previous year. In general, the import price recorded a deep downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when the average import price increased by 17%. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $2,989 per ton. From 2014 to 2021, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
As there is only one major supplying country, the average price level is determined by prices for Germany.
From 2012 to 2021, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Belgium amounted to -2.6% per year.
