Cauliflower and Broccoli Price in Vietnam (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average cauliflower and broccoli export price amounted to $670 per ton, increasing by 7.1% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +2.7%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 an increase of 29%. The export price peaked at $711 per ton in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Taiwan (Chinese).
From 2012 to 2022, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Taiwan (Chinese) amounted to +3.4% per year.
Cauliflower and Broccoli Price in Vietnam (CIF) - 2022
The average cauliflower and broccoli import price stood at $1,551 per ton in 2022, which is down by -2.1% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, enjoyed prominent growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 when the average import price increased by 76%. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $1,585 per ton in 2021, and then dropped modestly in the following year.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Australia ($4,769 per ton), while the price for China amounted to $1,497 per ton.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+4.9%).
Cauliflower and Broccoli Exports in Vietnam
In 2022, approx. 12K tons of cauliflower and broccoli were exported from Vietnam; increasing by 4% against 2021 figures. The total export volume increased at an average annual rate of +6.6% over the period from 2019 to 2022; the trend pattern remained consistent, with only minor fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period.
