The average caviar (sturgeon) import price stood at $509K per ton in July 2023, which is down by -3.4% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in April 2023 an increase of 20% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum at $570K per ton in December 2022; however, from January 2023 to July 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.
