Cereals; Millet, Seed Price in Austria (FOB) - 2022

In 2022, the average cereals; millet, seed export price amounted to $1,552 per ton, remaining stable against the previous year. Overall, the export price showed a perceptible curtailment. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 an increase of 82%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $2,793 per ton. From 2020 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the Czech Republic ($5,356 per ton), while the average price for exports to Italy ($1,224 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the Czech Republic (+3.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
