Coconut Price in Slovakia (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average coconut import price amounted to $2,327 per ton, with a decrease of -28.9% against the previous year. In general, the import price continues to indicate a noticeable curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when the average import price increased by 75% against the previous year. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $3,274 per ton, and then fell remarkably in the following year.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the Czech Republic ($8,243 per ton), while the price for Cote d'Ivoire ($1,184 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the Czech Republic (+21.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average coconut export price stood at $6,021 per ton in 2022, reducing by -14.3% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price recorded a noticeable curtailment. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 an increase of 168%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $11,494 per ton. From 2021 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Poland (+7.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
Coconut Imports in Slovakia
