Copper Wire Price in India (CIF) - 2023

In September 2023, the average copper wire import price amounted to $8,935 per ton, remaining constant against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in January 2023 an increase of 6% month-to-month. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $9,656 per ton in March 2023; however, from April 2023 to September 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.

Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. In September 2023, the countries with the highest prices were China ($10,953 per ton) and Malaysia ($9,052 per ton), while the price for the United Arab Emirates ($8,622 per ton) and Thailand ($8,863 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
