Crude Coconut Oil Price in Canada (CIF) - 2023
In June 2023, the average crude coconut oil import price amounted to $4,415 per ton, picking up by 3.5% against the previous month. In general, the import price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in October 2022 an increase of 48% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $5,728 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to June 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was Sri Lanka ($7,348 per ton), while the price for the Philippines totaled $3,412 per ton.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the Philippines (+0.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

In 2022, the average crude coconut oil export price amounted to $2,471 per ton, reducing by -9.6% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, enjoyed a remarkable increase. As a result, imports reached the peak of 6K tons. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, crude coconut oil imports contracted markedly to $13M in 2022. In general, imports saw a abrupt shrinkage.
