Derivatives of Hydrocarbons Price in India (CIF) - 2023
In September 2023, the average derivatives of hydrocarbons import price amounted to $1,881 per ton, stabilizing at the previous month. Overall, the import price saw a noticeable descent. The growth pace was the most rapid in April 2023 when the average import price increased by 6.9% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $3,260 per ton in September 2022; however, from October 2022 to September 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.
As there is only one major supplying country, the average price level is determined by prices for China.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the rate of growth in terms of prices for China amounted to -4.7% per month.
Derivatives of Hydrocarbons Price in India (FOB) - 2022
The average derivatives of hydrocarbons export price stood at $2,767 per ton in 2022, jumping by 19% against the previous year. Overall, export price indicated a measured increase from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +3.1% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, derivatives of hydrocarbons export price increased by +51.9% against 2020 indices.
