Diammonium Phosphate Price in Turkey (CIF) - 2022
The average diammonium phosphate import price stood at $848 per ton in 2022, with an increase of 36% against the previous year. In general, the import price recorded moderate growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 91% against the previous year. The import price peaked in 2022 and is likely to see steady growth in the immediate term.
Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the countries with the highest prices were Tunisia ($875 per ton) and Morocco ($857 per ton), while the price for Russia ($735 per ton) and Jordan ($794 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Morocco (+6.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Diammonium Phosphate Price in Turkey (FOB) - 2023
In September 2023, the average diammonium phosphate export price amounted to $548 per ton, growing by 2.6% against the previous month. Overall, the export price, however, recorded a pronounced reduction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in May 2023 when the average export price increased by 28% m-o-m. The export price peaked at $954 per ton in September 2022; however, from October 2022 to September 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Romania (0.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
Diammonium Phosphate Imports in Turkey
For the third consecutive year, Turkey recorded decline in supplies from abroad of diammonium phosphate, which decreased by -29.5% to 237K tons in 2022. In general, imports showed a precipitous curtailment. The smallest decline of -27.4% was in 2020.
