Domestic Appliances Price in Poland (FOB) - 2022
The average domestic appliances export price stood at $88 per unit in 2022, with an increase of 9.2% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 an increase of 22% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $118 per unit in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the Czech Republic ($15 per unit), while the average price for exports to Denmark ($5 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Hungary (+7.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Domestic Appliances Price in Poland (CIF) - 2022
The average domestic appliances import price stood at $46 per unit in 2022, falling by -2.9% against the previous year. Over the period under review, import price indicated a perceptible expansion from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +3.8% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, domestic appliances import price increased by +51.5% against 2018 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 an increase of 40%. The import price peaked at $47 per unit in 2021, and then declined slightly in the following year.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Hungary ($30 per unit), while the price for Russia ($3.8 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the Czech Republic (+15.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Domestic Appliances Exports in Poland
In 2022, overseas shipments of domestic appliances decreased by -15.2% to 88M units for the first time since 2018, thus ending a three-year rising trend. The total export volume increased at an average annual rate of +8.8% over the period from 2019 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 32% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at 104M units in 2021, and then fell rapidly in the following year.
In value terms, domestic appliances exports contracted to $7.8B in 2022. The total export value increased at an average annual rate of +7.1% over the period from 2019 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when exports increased by 22% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $8.4B, and then dropped in the following year.
