The average dried apricot import price stood at $3,429 per ton in March 2022, which is down by -13% against the previous month. Over the last twelve-month period, it increased at an average monthly rate of +2.4%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in October 2021 when the average import price increased by 13% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $3,943 per ton in February 2022, and then fell in the following month.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In March 2022, the country with the highest price was Turkey ($5,000 per ton), while the price for Uzbekistan ($3,158 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
