In June 2023, the average dried apricot import price amounted to $7,854 per ton, growing by 37% against the previous month. Over the last twelve months, it increased at an average monthly rate of +2.6%. As a result, import price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In June 2023, the countries with the highest prices were Germany ($9,114 per ton) and the Czech Republic ($9,004 per ton), while the price for France ($7,449 per ton) and Turkey ($7,802 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+4.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

Over the period under review, export price indicated a measured increase from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +4.8% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, dried apricot export price increased by +69.1% against 2019 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 an increase of 59% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $8,725 per ton in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
