Dried Apricot Price in Ukraine (CIF) - 2023
The average dried apricot import price stood at $1,437 per ton in May 2023, increasing by 13% against the previous month. In general, the import price recorded a pronounced expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in July 2022 when the average import price increased by 125% month-to-month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $2,693 per ton. From August 2022 to May 2023, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In May 2023, the country with the highest price was Turkey ($1,607 per ton), while the price for Tajikistan ($950 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From May 2022 to May 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Turkey (+4.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average dried apricot export price stood at $1,778 per ton in 2022, waning by -34% against the previous year. Overall, the export price showed a deep downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when the average export price increased by 56%.
