Dried Grapes Price in Panama (CIF) - 2023
In July 2023, the average dried grapes import price amounted to $3,629 per ton, with an increase of 22% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in March 2023 when the average import price increased by 104% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $4,998 per ton in January 2023; however, from February 2023 to July 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In July 2023, the country with the highest price was the United States ($5,250 per ton), while the price for Turkey ($1,762 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From September 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Argentina (+0.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

The average dried grapes export price stood at $2,656 per ton in 2022, with a decrease of -5.1% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price faced a abrupt curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when the average export price increased by 20%. Dried grapes imports into Panama dropped remarkably to 1.1K tons in 2022, declining by -26.5% compared with 2021. Overall, imports continue to indicate a deep reduction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 32% against the previous year.
