Dried Grapes Price in Ukraine (CIF) - 2023
In August 2023, the average dried grapes import price amounted to $1,427 per ton, picking up by 23% against the previous month. Over the last twelve months, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.4%. As a result, import price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was Chile ($3,045 per ton), while the price for Iran ($920 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Turkey (+2.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.
Dried Grapes Price in Ukraine (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average dried grapes export price amounted to $3,484 per ton, picking up by 9.9% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, saw a slight decline. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 an increase of 36% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $3,904 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Turkey ($4,601 per ton), while the average price for exports to Moldova ($2,570 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Mongolia (+8.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
Dried Grapes Imports in Ukraine
In 2022, approx. 9.2K tons of dried grapes were imported into Ukraine; dropping by -40.2% on the previous year. In general, imports faced a deep setback. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when imports increased by 11%. As a result, imports reached the peak of 15K tons, and then reduced remarkably in the following year.
In value terms, dried grapes imports declined dramatically to $11M in 2022. Overall, imports recorded a deep contraction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when imports increased by 13% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of $14M, and then declined markedly in the following year.

Dried Grapes Exports in Ukraine
In 2022, the amount of dried grapes exported from Ukraine surged to 14 tons, picking up by 44% compared with 2021 figures. Over the period under review, exports, however, recorded a dramatic descent. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when exports increased by 72% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of 53 tons.
