Dried Vegetables Price in Slovenia (CIF) - 2023
The average dried vegetables import price stood at $2,679 per ton in August 2023, with a decrease of -6.4% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price recorded a mild decline. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in September 2022 when the average import price increased by 43% month-to-month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $4,664 per ton. From October 2022 to August 2023, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was France ($9,596 per ton), while the price for Egypt ($1,686 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Italy (+9.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In August 2023, the average dried vegetables export price amounted to $1,931 per ton, with a decrease of -32.4% against the previous month. Overall, the export price continues to indicate a perceptible decline.
