In 2022, the average dry bean import price amounted to $1,939 per ton, rising by 94% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, showed a mild slump. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $2,297 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
