Dry Bean Price in Peru (FOB) - 2021
In April 2020, the average dry bean export price amounted to $1,296 per ton, increasing by 7% against the previous month. Over the period from January 2020 to April 2020, it increased at an average monthly rate of +2.6%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Turkey ($1,644 per ton), while the average price for exports to Ecuador ($769 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From January 2020 to April 2020, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Colombia (+7.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Dry Bean Price in Peru (CIF) - 2021
The average dry bean import price stood at $1,428 per ton in April 2020, which is down by -3.8% against the previous month. Over the last three-month period, it increased at an average monthly rate of +8.5%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in March 2020 when the average import price increased by 18% against the previous month.
