The average ferro-alloys; ferro-niobium import price stood at $26,371 per ton in March 2022, remaining relatively unchanged against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in June 2021 when the average import price increased by 571% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $26,553 per ton in November 2021; however, from December 2021 to March 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
As there is only one major supplying country, the average price level is determined by prices for Brazil.
