The average ferro-alloys; ferro-vanadium import price stood at $24,752 per ton in July 2023, with an increase of 3% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, showed a mild descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2023 an increase of 4.7% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $30,161 per ton in July 2022; however, from August 2022 to July 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.

Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In July 2023, the countries with the highest prices were South Africa ($25,107 per ton) and China ($24,780 per ton), while the price for Austria ($23,605 per ton) and the Czech Republic ($24,671 per ton) were amongst the lowest.

From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Taiwan (Chinese) (-0.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Thailand (+6.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
