Over the last twelve-month period, it increased at an average monthly rate of +2.7%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in April 2023 when the average import price increased by 15% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $3,889 per ton in May 2023, and then contracted slightly in the following month.
