In 2022, the average fishing reels import price amounted to $44,279 per ton, with a decrease of -23.4% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 an increase of 22% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $57,810 per ton in 2021, and then dropped dramatically in the following year.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was South Korea ($109,007 per ton), while the price for China ($31,078 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Finland (+9.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average fishing reels export price stood at $83,730 per ton in 2022, declining by -39.6% against the previous year. From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the Netherlands (+20.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, fishing reels exports contracted markedly to $45K in 2022. In general, exports showed a sharp contraction. The smallest decline of -19.9% was in 2021.
