Frozen Poultry Liver Price in Kuwait (CIF) - 2021
The average frozen poultry liver import price stood at $4,082 per ton in December 2021, waning by -9.1% against the previous month. Overall, import price indicated moderate growth from January 2021 to December 2021: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +2.9% over the last eleven-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on December 2021 figures, frozen poultry liver import price decreased by -9.1% against November 2021 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in October 2021 an increase of 72% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $4,490 per ton in November 2021, and then reduced in the following month.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In December 2021, the country with the highest price was Jordan ($7,317 per ton), while the price for Brazil ($3,490 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From January 2021 to December 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Russia (+9.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Frozen Poultry Liver Price in Kuwait (FOB) - 2022
The average frozen poultry liver export price stood at $2,460 per ton in 2022, growing by 6.3% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, showed a mild contraction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 when the average export price increased by 31%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $3,833 per ton. From 2019 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Qatar ($3,329 per ton), while the average price for exports to Turkey ($1,652 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Qatar (+3.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
Frozen Poultry Liver Imports in Kuwait
Frozen poultry liver imports into Kuwait contracted remarkably to 45K tons in 2022, with a decrease of -25% compared with 2021 figures. In general, imports showed a abrupt decrease.
